Energy Audits
- Hesco is a licensed auditing firm by Energy Regulatory Commission(ERC)
- ERC was established under the Energy Act, 2006, it replaced the Electricity Regulatory Board (ERB)
- The objective: To regulate the electrical energy, petroleum and related products, renewable energy and other forms of energy.
- Energy Audits is under Renewable energy one of the requirements is for designated facility to conduct Energy Audits every 3 years, and energy implementation plan annually.
- An energy audit identifies opportunities to reduce energy consumption.
- This can only be done by licensed auditors of which Hesco is one of them.
